Speech and Language

The Speech and Language team at KOBE specializes in supporting students who face communication difficulties. Our dedicated team offers assessments, comprehensive reports, individualized programming, and expert consultation for both staff and parents. Our focus extends to speech articulation and fluency (how we produce sounds and connect them to form words), receptive language (how we understand and process language), expressive language (how we put our thoughts and ideas into words that make sense to others), and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (communication used to supplement or replace speech for those with impairments). By addressing these challenges, we empower students to overcome communication barriers and thrive academically and socially.

Literacy

The Literacy lead at KOBE collaborates closely with educators and families to provide classroom support and elevate literacy skills among our students.
